We asked MacAngel to combine two extremely large databases that were incorrectly setup within the firm initially. Basically instead of creating an offline database for the other key user, that user took the original database and added to it independent of the first primary dataset. When it became apparent that the more efficient way to use and mine the dataset was to combine them, we learned that this process was virtually impossible to do without losing massive amounts of data. We talked to Daylite, and virtually every Mac Daylite professional out there and only MacAngel would even tackle the challenge. Not combining the datasets was not an option. Within a realtively short period of time (14,000 contacts!) we are up and running and using DL as it was properly intended.
