Over the summer holidays, my boyfriend took me home to my country, Canada, and proposed to me.

It was just fantastic. We went to Vancouver Island, drove until the paved road stopped. Drove 2 more hours on a dirt road, hiked for 45 minutes in the bush then came out at San Josef beach. It was quite the setting.
