What did we do for them and why would you recommend Daylite

Marni: noticed from your recent FB posts that you are working with a large law firm on a Daylite implementation.  First, my condolences on having to work with lawyers

.  Second, I thought I’d pass on a comment regarding my use of daylite in the context of a law firm.  I now regularly take a moment at the time of billing to review all my daylite entries.  There are many times that I have caught activity on the file that I forgot to post to my accounting system (which I use for time posting).  Since so much of a lawyer’s work on a file is responding to emails and given the DMI feature, I now have the ability to scrutinize my bill to the client for accuracy (its easy to forget to post for the time involved in email exchange when you have many files on the go).  That has allowed me to be more successful in recovering time.  If I was a better docketer of time I guess that would not be a problem but I think most lawyers can attest to the problems associated with trying to capture all of one’s time during a busy day/week.  Daylite has more than paid for itself when it comes to recovered time.  Perhaps your new law firm client might find this useful.
