What did we do for them and why would you recommend Daylite

Daylite is a unbelievably powerful piece of software. However, there is a large gap between installing the software and being able to learn and take advantage of all it has to offer for a particular business model. MacAngel has filled part of this gap by providing detailed educational videos on methods for setting up and using Daylite to all its glory. I was struggling with a methodology for how to effectively use Daylite on a daily basis to run my business. I have only watched two videos, but they have been invaluable in helping me get my head around how to best use everything from tasks, to opportunities, to projects, to pipelines, to activity sets. With such a complex piece of software it is almost a necessity to have someone guide you and show you how to get at the power of Daylite. I would highly recommend any/all of MacAngel’s videos to anyone who is using Daylite - especially those just starting out.

Why did they choose to work with MacAngel

I found MacAngel by doing a Google search for Daylite training. There are several Daylite Certified Partner websites out there, but this was the only one I found that is offering any type of training videos. I didn’t want (or need) to pay for 1on1 training, just to pick up some additional pointers and get some guidance on how to better use the many features of Daylite. MacAngel’s reasonable priced training videos are a savior. They have allowed me to learn about Daylite at my own pace and concentrate on those areas I was struggling with by choosing the particular video dealing with that area of the software.

What do you use Daylite for now

Everything! (although I’m still working on setting things up) My contact manager (including DMI to link emails). My task list manager. My calendar. My project planning. My real estate opportunities. And I sync the my calendar and contacts thru to my iPhone via MobileMe. I even use it track my favorite quotes.

Has daylite improved their business or their lives?

I probably tried everything under the sun on the Windows side. I just recently moved to Mac earlier this year (and couldn’t be happier - wish I would have switched a long time ago!) and found Daylite. Have been struggling with how to set it up since then. Was actually using OmniFocus for my to do lists until I watched your GTD for Daylite video - now I’m going to use Daylite exclusively for everything. Yea!

I would recommend Daylite to just about anyone who wants to keep track of their business relationships, tasks, projects, and interactions. What I do like about this program is that you can start out slow with it and modify and grow it as you learn more and more of it’s features and complexity. I’m sure once I get it fully set up and running the way I envision, I won’t know how I ever lived without it - actually, I’m already there.
