What did we do for them and why would you recommend Daylite
Marnie set up the network and helped customize the main settings in DayLite. I watched several videos and showed my husband parts that I thought would be better explained there than by me. The videos were nice because we could watch the same thing multiple times and the explanations were clear enough that there we didn’t have any other questions. We liked the DayLite 3.9/Touch video better than the webinar videos because of sound quality (just the nature of the beast) and I liked being able to skip to specific chapters.
Client Bio
We grow, harvest, deliver and sell sod. We started about 5 years ago. We currently rent three different farms and have a separate location for maintenance and equipment storage. My husband does all the farming and deliveries and I do all the bookkeeping, marketing and phone answering. I also schedule the homeowners, while he schedules our regular contractor customers. We do estimates and installations, as well.

Because we wanted it to be as simple as possible and get up and running as quickly as possible. We figured why spend all that money on software and then spend endless hours of frustration trying to reinvent the wheel.

What do you use Daylite for now
We use it to schedule our whole lives. We use our phones constantly, so Touch is a really big deal to us. We are not at the computer very often. We run our business, our personal lives and we homeschool our children.

Has daylite improved their business or their lives?
Yes. It was very stressful to put in everything that needed to be done. But once it was all there and we could look at it all and then choose the most important and do it, it was a great relief. We were less concerned about all the things that weren’t getting done because we knew we were doing the best with the time we had.
The delegation with notification feature has been very helpful. We really appreciate having everything, for both our family and business, in one place.
Before Daylite, I used Omnifocus and my husband used his memory and very outdated Blackberry.
