As with many computer programs the strength of Daylite lies with its vast capabilities to manage large amounts of date. This can also be a weakness for someone who is new to the software. Simply put - where do you start. Marni answers this question.

Without MacAngel and the training videos I would still be struggling with how to integrate Daylite into my practice and how to create a set of best practices for its use. The training videos provide “live” examples of best practices for getting the most out of Daylite. The videos “Daylite 3.8 for the Law Office” and “MacAngel Method, GTD” changed the way I manage my practice. With what I’ve learned from the videos I’ve been able to make a quantum leap in controlling my work and personal life.

What did we do for them and why would you recommend Daylite

I am a recent convert to Mac and an even more recent convert to Daylite, which to be honest, is the best fully rounded client management system on OS X. I have purchased several of Marni Melrose’s videos to help me get started- without her in-depth knowledge and cheerful sagacious advice, I would not have understood or realised even half of daylight’s true potential. Moving through the introductory videos to the more complicated functions, Marni explains concepts and structure and what is more, adds further value by highlighting tips and tricks that I almost certainly wouldn’t have found myself. For anybody just getting to grips with Daylite, or for those more advanced operators, there is always something you will learn from Marni; I estimate that her videos have saved me thousands of £‘s in IT fees, as it gave me the knowledge to set up, run and utilise Daylite in a way that is incredibly beneficial for my business. Quite simply it is a cost effective solution that cannot be beaten; as my organisations lifeblood is my Daylite database, using a MacAngel training video is a no-brainer.

MacAngel Daylite Videos A Must Buy . . .

I have used Daylite from just about its very beginnings. It is an incedible contact, sales, and project manager. Like any powerful software (e.g., Photoshop, etc), Daylite does have a learning curve. Marnï Melrose rightly titles herself the “The MacAngel.” Few if anyone who as watched her video’s would disagree. Some of the tips she reveals would have taken me years to discover. Others are “blinding flashes of the obvious,” but valuable none the less. I’ve purchase two or three of Marni’s training videos and highly recommend her to those new to Daylite and to self-taught “experts.” With the launch of the “Daylight Touch” app for the iPhone, you can be sure I’ll looking to Marni, “The MacAngel,” to help me get the most from my iPhone and PowerMAC Daylite database integration. Five stars.

Once you go Mac, you’ll never go back. In December, I took the plunge and switched to a totally Mac office. When I researched Daylite, I read that customers gradually became aware of its amazing uses and customization. Why not have it running at full strength from day one by hiring an expert. When I compare what Marni delivers for the services she provides, her company is an amazing value I am glad I did and the transition on the law side was much easier than I could have imagined, thanks to an angel. I am talking about The MacAngel, Marni Melrose, a certified Daylite software consultant and David Allen “Getting Things Done” disciple. Marni has worked with many lawyers and will customize the software to fit your practice and your life.

Marni have a great GTD methodology webinar. It’s very short and simple. You can learn, you can zoom and see how she exactly works. And what I like first of all - she is very effective by herself (that part of the podcast where she is trying to make a report of closed tasks and Daylite is freezing because there is a LOT of closed task!

Daylite is a unbelievably powerful piece of software. However, there is a large gap between installing the software and being able to learn and take advantage of all it has to offer for a particular business model. MacAngel has filled part of this gap by providing detailed educational videos on methods for setting up and using Daylite to all its glory. I was struggling with a methodology for how to effectively use Daylite on a daily basis to run my business. I have only watched two videos, but they have been invaluable in helping me get my head around how to best use everything from tasks, to opportunities, to projects, to pipelines, to activity sets. With such a complex piece of software it is almost a necessity to have someone guide you and show you how to get at the power of Daylite. I would highly recommend any/all of MacAngel’s videos to anyone who is using Daylite - especially those just starting out.

Mac Angel lives up to its name. Marni solved problems for us that nobody else could. She was able to troubleshoot and correct issues that had been problematic for some time.
Her tutorials allowed us to learn more about Daylite and with her help, we were able to streamline our daily processes using Daylite, which made for a more efficient and organized work place.

Purchased the Daylite & GTD video.

The flexability of Daylite is both it’s greatest strengh and weakness. However, this video showed how to setup Daylite in a way that follows both the FC as well as GTD methodology, without being to hard to use. Also, it is done in a way that does not make you feel like an idiot for not knowing how to use the program.

I wish I knew about Marni’s services sooner.

Howdy: I am a mechanical engineer by training. I have some substantial experience with computers, software experts and programmers. Recently on several occasions, I needed really expert advice and service to recover from a hard drive failure, update and install new software and hardware. I received Marni’s business card from the Mission Valley Apple store. Marni came to our condominium. She is absolutely competent, knowledgeable and efficient. In a very short time, she had my computer up and functioning. She fixed all the problems, she installed new software, translated old data bases to new,more efficient software programs, appraised me of potential problems, trained me in how to use the new software.
