MacAngel Mentoring Program

The mentoring program is a three month program put together by Marni Melrose, the Founder of the MacAngel Academy. It will put you on track to take control of your life for the rest of your life. What would your world look like if you were really thriving and not just surviving? What sort of an impact could that make not just on your life, but on the lives of all around you. 

What Marni found with most coaching programs is that they teach you good skills to live your life, but they don't have any "maintenance" system. So although most people get a lot out of being coached, after a few months they fall off the wagon with regards to maintaining the daily activities they need to do to get to where they want to go. 

 

What Marni has designed is not only a way to see where you are at and where you want to go, and how to get there, but a system that you can use for years into the future as your grow and change. Your goals and values now become a living document that are present in your everyday activities. She pulls from many systems she's learned throughout her life including, Stephen Covey's First Things First, David Allen's GTD or Getting Things Done and also The Law of Attraction. 

 

  1. In our first session we will put the Horizon system into your Daylite. We will be learning what your values are and where you are at in your life as well as where you want to go. We will start to place these goals on timelines/horizons. We will develop horizons for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months & 5 years. In this session we will discover what drives you and what is holding you back from your best life. You will be given homework to do in the MacAngel Academy before the next session. We will set up a time for your first review. This session will be approximately 2 hours long. All other sessions are 1 hour long. 
  2. In our second session, which should be a week after the first session, we will complete your first weekly review together. You will be given homework to do in the MacAngel Academy before the next session.
  3. A month later we will do your first monthly review and see where you are with regards to achieving your goals and we'll evaluate where we can tighten up the system. 
  4. Three months later we will come together to do your first 3 month review and discuss your progress in using the system.

To participate in the MacAngel Mentoring program your will need:

  • Daylite up and running on a single or multiuser mode. If you do not have Daylite running yet, you can learn how to set it up in the MacAngel Academy or we have other services to assist you in setting it up. 
  • Have authorization to change the database structure if you are in a multi-user environment
  • Be registered for the MacAngel Academy or have purchased the associated iBook lessons.

About the Academy

MacAngel Academy is a self-guided learning environment. We realize that your time is precious and people learn best by taking in small bits of information at a time. The MacAngel Academy can help you understand how best to use your technology to perform better in the world. You will be able to progress at your own speed in short sessions. Each lesson is between 7 and 22 minutes long and consists of a video, step by step instructions AND a downloadable PDF. You can view lessons on either your iPhone or iPad. 

 

When you finish a lesson you can mark it as completed and return to it any time during your membership for a refresher if needed. You can also put lessons in your playlist for future learning as you find them. 

 

Each lesson will show pre-requisite lessons as well as further learning. So you can start anywhere and the system will guide you with what you should do before and after each lesson. 

 

MacAngel Academy Members also gain access to other services such as Academy Plus Coaching. Academy Plus Coaching sessions are live 2 hour webinars with "The MacAngel" and up to 25 other attendees for a more personalized learning experience.

Corporate Training

We can do corporate training with your staff if we have designed your Daylite database. If we have not designed your database, we may need to make a few structural changes to it before we can. 

MacAngel uses the Citrix GoTo platform for all of it's sessions with clients. What that means to you is that it does not matter where your employees are, as long as they have access to the internet they can get onto the session(s), even from their iPads.

Video Recording Included

We record all corporate trainings and produce a video that you can download for each session. This is great for when you bring new employees on board and they need to be trained on the way your particular Daylite database works. 

 

If you prefer the personal touch, remote 1 on 1 training is very effective. We collaboratively work together to get you to where you want to be. As we talk on the phone, I see what you see and I can move your mouse, train you and show you solutions. It's like having an angel on your shoulder.
